Hmarram.com is a 10-plus-year-old online online magazine/museum (a photo-feature website) with a special focus on the Hmar tribe of North-East India. It was started in 2010 to promote the Hmar tribe and their way of life. It has photos from the administrators as well as from those who agreed to share their original works to make an online library/museum/magazine where people can share, discuss and learn more about the Hmar people – their culture, crafts, food, dress, and many more.

While we expressed our sincere thanks to content contributors and web developers like Lalremlien Neitham, Nelson Varte and Randolf Amos who supported us over the years in one way or another, we also wish to acknowledge the crucial support from our patron Pu Malsawmthang Keivom (IFS) and his family.

This site is dedicated to my aunt (L)Mrs Lalchawimawi who left me with these words: “Never miss Hmar cultural events unless you can’t walk!” – Hmarram.com Editor/Founder.
