Zawngtra Deng (Bitter bean Chutney) is prepared from ‘Zawngta (Parkia speciosa) judiciously mixed with either ‘nagathu (dried fermented fish) or ‘sathu’ (fermented port fats). The one shown in this photo is prepared with ‘ngathu’ and hot green chili. Year: 2013
