Frog meat (upeng sa) is another Hmar delicacy
Upeng sa (frog meat of a special specie) is another Hmar delicacy. Most of the time it is served as fried or roasted dish. The dry meat is also used as a taste maker in cooking ‘chil-al’ or ‘chang-al’ curries, both traditional dishes. Photo contributed by CC Hmar
