Vawkke (Pig’s trotters) looks nasty, but tastes awesome
Vawkke (pig’s trotters) is one of the favorite food items taken by the Hmar people.
A properly cleaned trotter is either used in preparing of chutney curry with a seasoning called sathu (fermented pork) or plainly boiled with green mustard leaves.
Or, just take it roasted!
