Manipur government notification on creation of Pherzawl District
The Government of Manipur on December 8, 2016, announced the creation of Pherzawl District along with six new revenue districts in the state. Pherzawl was upgraded to the status of Additional District Council since 2005.
Please note: The new district is a revenue district and not an autonomous district council under the Sixth Schedule of Indian Constitution.
