Hmar Martyrs’ Day, Saikawt village, Manipur 2014
Hmar Martyrs’ Day was observed on May 16, 2014, at Saikawt village in Churachandpur District of Manipur. The day is maked by memorial services for those who laid down their lives for the tribe during the Hmar Peoples’ Convention movement for self rule in the Indian state of Mizoram.
