Mithun (Siel) was used as bride price by the Hmar tribe
Mithun (Siel in Hmar) is one of the most important animals associated with the Hmar tribe. It used to be a medium of bride price in ancient times but their numbers have come down drastically in Hmar Hills. There are just a few ones left and this mithun is from in Parvachawm village.
