Mizoram government order denying Hmars job cards under National Rural Guaranteed Scheme
This is the copy of the Mizoram government order issued in 2012 that denied the Hmar tribals job cards that will enable them to get work under the Central government sponsored Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme.
The scanned copy of the order issued by the district uncharged as per the Mizoram government order.
In Point 4, the programme officer of MGNREGS of Thingdawl RD Block states that as per the Home Department order dated Oct 25, 2011, ‘Hmar migrants’ should not be issued the job card.
The order, was however revoked,after stiff resistance by the Hmar Students Association. (We invite a copy of the rollback order from our readers)
